As per tweet of MuscleNerd, ultrasnow will be available for iOS 5 by today and brings support for iOS 5 final. So here’s a good news for people who depends upon ultrasnow for unlock iOS 5, iPhone Dev team has just released Ultrasnow 1.2.4 for unlocking of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4GS running iOS 5, but unfortunately newer basebands are not supported and you can only onlock via ultrasnow if you are running a Compataible baseband, you can unlock iOS wtih gevey sim as well but first you have to jailbreak iOS which can be done with redsn0w 0.9.9b5 which can preserver the new baseband as well. Follow these steps.

- jailbreak your iOS 5 via redsnow 0.9.9b5
- Now after jailbreaking open cydia
- Go to “manage” and tab on it
- Now tab on source and type the following url http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/
- you will find the ultrasnow 1.2.4 then install it
Here’s a procedure for Gevey sim:
- Put gevey sim on
- activate the flight mode on iPhone
- dial 112 and wait till you get the signal bar back
- if you get the signal you are done with unlocking iOS 5 via Gevey
