Samsung intros Star II entry touch phone with social apps

Samsung has finally announced the official successor to its Star S5230 entry-level handset with STAR II. Most of the specifications of the new phone remains the same or is slightly upgraded. The touch Wiz UI is retained but new are preloaded social networking apps built into social Hub which includes Facebook, Twitter andIM apps.

Storage space is provided through a micro SD memory card slot with Wi-Fi built in. Users can listen FM by plugging their 3.5mm headphones.

Star II is expected to reach Germany next month and afterwards would be delivered to Europe and South America. The price is  tobe announced soon.
