Apple Asks Federal Government to Stop iPhone Jailbreaking

NBC reports that Apple has asked the Federal Government to help stop hackers from jailbreaking the iPhone.

A spokesperson of Apple told the US copyright office that current jailbreaking is taking more wide spread as before. After this happen Sony recently filed a lawsuit against Iphone hacker Geohot for jailbreaking PlayStation 3.

It is also to be noted here that in July last year, the United States government ruled in the favor of iPhone jailbreaks and unlocks as legal, as long as they were not used for piracy purposes. It is also be noted on july last year when the US Government ruled in favor of iPhone Jailbreaks and unlocks

Redsn0w 0.9.6rc7 Released and Brings One-click Tethered iOS 4.2.1 Boot

The iPhone Dev Team has  released a new version of Redsnow 0.9.6rc7 with one click tethered iOS 4.2.1 Jailbreak support. it can jailbreak idevices whose running 4.2.1. With this Redsnow version you can command line arguments so you can bypass the method you normally see as you use redsnow to boot  when you device is rebooted.

Redsnow 0.9.7 Beta 4 to Jailbreak iPhone, iPod, iPad running iOS 4.2.1

Another update, Redsnow o.9.7 Beta 4 to Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. This Beta 4 is a test release and there are many of unexpected bugs so stay away from Untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak . As this updated version eleminates the need of seperate USBMuxd process, so now many Mac users can now use it.

Dev team : The fourth beta is now available for developers only. After starting this update you no longer need to run a seperate program  for usbmux. we also thing about fixing of a race condition in GUI by which redsnow crash during Preparing JB Monte Files

Redsnow o.9.5 beta 4 updated to jailbreak iPhone IOS 4 to jailbreak iPhone iOS 4 beta firmware. The iPhone OS 4.0 was released by apple and available for developers but normal person have no access to it.
